Carol Spicknall

Dr Carol Spicknall has been a general practitioner at Chesapeake Animal Clinic since 2022. Growing up on a farm in Southern Maryland, Dr Spicknall developed a strong affinity for horses and four - legged animals which motivated her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine at a young age. She pursued her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at Salisbury University and later earned a Master's in Interdisciplinary Science Studies from Johns Hopkins University. In 1998 she graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary medicine.

Dr Spicknall has a interest in internal medicine and appreciates collaborating with colleagues on complex cases. She brings a caring feeling to every room she enters.

Dr Spicknall loves her family, human, four- legged and feathered and can be found winding down on the river with her husband.
