Katelyn McGarvey

Dr. Katie McGarvey joined our team in May of 2026. She grew up in Pennsylvania with a variety
of pets that inspired her to want to be a veterinarian at a very young age. She has always loved
animals and medicine and loves that being a vet allows her to incorporate both. Dr. McGarvey
attended Millersville University for her undergraduate degree and graduated with a major in
Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2018. She then went on to veterinary school at the
University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her doctorate
degree in 2022. Dr. McGarvey enjoys caring for pets as if they are her own and enjoys getting to
know all of the people she serves as well. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with
her family and German Shepherd, Jake.
